The City of Melfort contracts with Greenland Waste to provide front street residential waste collection.  For more information, refer to the links below.

 

Waste collection fees are included on your utility bill.  Rates below are effective February 1, 2019:

     Single Family Dwelling Unit:  $15.00/month

     Multi-Family Dwelling (4 units & under):  $15.00/month/unit

     Cart replacement fee:  $50.00 per cart

 

Residential waste collection services are provided on a bi-weekly basis (alternating with recyclable collection), with all waste transported to the landfill. All waste and receptacles must comply with the Waste & Recyclables Collection & Disposal Bylaw. Containers must be set out by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled day of pickup. 

 

Each residence is provided with one 95-gallon roll-out cart.  If you wish to rent an additional cart or an industrial bin for a large job, please contact Greenland Waste Inc. at 306-763-3133.

Commercial customers, including multi-unit dwellings over four units, must contract directly from a waste collection contractor.
