Melfort & District Curling Club

The Melfort & District Curling Club owns and operates the Melfort Curling Rink. The club maintains a six sheet facility and offers programs for adults, seniors, Special Olympic, and youth teams. The facility has kitchen and lounge services and the entire facility is available for off-season rentals. The Curling Club has had a successful history of hosting local, regional, and provincial events.

Melfort Golf & Country Club

The Melfort Golf & Country Club is a public eighteen-hole championship golf course with a fully stocked Pro Shop, excellent restaurant and spacious lounge. Golfers of all ages and abilities will enjoy the golf experience and everyone is welcome to come out and play a round of golf or visit the clubhouse for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Melfort Mustangs 

Established in 1988, the Melfort Mustangs have been entertaining hockey fans for over 20 years. The Melfort Mustangs compete in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and over the years have displayed an exciting brand of hockey and have become integral members of the community. Playing out of the beautiful Northern Lights Palace, the Melfort Mustangs have enjoyed success both as a team and an organization having provided many scholarship opportunities for the players and have seen many former players compete professionally.

Wapiti Valley Regional Park 

Located on the banks of the Saskatchewan River in the Saskatchewan River Valley. Wapiti is the only four-season regional park in the province of Saskatchewan.  

Camping, fishing, ATV trails north of the river, along some of the best snowmobile trails in Saskatchewan where you can stop in the chalet for a meal or a hot beverage, and the flagship of the park offering some of the best downhill skiing and snowboarding in the province.
