Our guild meets once a month - Sept. through May, in the dry craft room at the Kerry Vickar Centre - the third Monday of those months at 1:30 p.m. We promote the art of beautiful writing within our community.

Copies of our monthly newsletters may be viewed at the Melfort Public Library.

Melfort Northern Lights Woodcarvers meet in the KVC wetcraft room every Monday evening from 7pm - 9 pm from early fall till late spring.

You may also catch us at Spruce Haven Park Creative Circle, Carving, Creating, or Conversing, most Wednesday afternoons throughout the summer, weather permitting.

Everyone welcome to drop in.

Reconciliation Melfort is a community-based group focused on promoting reconciliation and healing between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Melfort and surrounding communities.

Our Reconciliation Circle aims to address the legacy of residential schools, promote cultural understanding, and foster a more inclusive and equitable community.

Reconciliation Melfort engages in various activities, such as:

· Organizing cultural events and workshops

· Providing education and awareness about Indigenous history and experiences

· Supporting local Indigenous initiatives and organizations

· Fostering dialogue between Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members

The specific goals and activities of Reconciliation Melfort will evolve over time, but our core objective is to promote reconciliation, healing, connections, and greater understanding between communities.

We are a friendly group of painters whose main purpose is to get together each week to paint.  All kinds of mediums and subjects are welcome.  We mentor, challenge, and support each other, and the fellowship is great!


We meet every Tuesday 1:30p.m. to 3:30p.m. at the All Saints' Anglican Church at 102 Caskey Dr.

We’re thrilled to invite you back for another exciting season of Kinsmen Melfort Minor Football! As we celebrate our 10th year of operation, we look back with pride on the many athletes who have started with us and gone on to play at the university and junior football levels in Saskatchewan. You’ve been part of that journey, and we’d love to see you back on the field this spring!

NFL Flag Football (Grades 1-4) – A fun, fast-paced way to develop skills and love for the game.
Tackle Football (Grades 5-8) – Train, compete, and grow under the leadership of experienced coaches.

This season, players will have the opportunity to be coached by members of the 2024 provincial champion Melfort Comets, bringing next-level experience and passion to the program.

This team plans to practice during the week and participate in the NE U9 Mini Tournament League. The Mini Tournaments are one day tournaments that are hosted during a few weekends throughout the NE. This is a great way to provide the players in this age group an opportunity to practice the skills they work on weekly in a fun, learn to play environment!

Practice days and times TBD based on coach availability
This team plans to practice 1-2 times weekly and play games as part of the NE U11 League. A final Playoff one day tournament is hosted at the end of the season.

Practice days and times TBD
This team will practice weekly and will participate in game and tournament play during the week (possibly the NE League) and weekends. If you have a player interested in playing League play, but not tournaments or Provincials, please still register and let us know!
This team will attend B Provincials in Meadow Lake on July 11-13th

MMSA is working with Tisdale Minor Ball to provide opportunities for this age group. Any players interested in playing are encouraged to register through TMB.

🔹The U5-U11 season begins May 1st and ends June 25th

🔹Age division reps will send out an email following registration close with more information about the season!
