Street Cleaning
Street sweeping clears sand, gravel, leaves and debris from roadways and helps to keep streets safe and clean.
For more information visit the Street Cleaning & Sweeping Policy.
Snow Clearing
The city is responsible for snow and ice control of city streets, highways and service roads, back alleys, and walking trails. This includes snow clearing, snow removal, sanding and deicing, and snow fencing. Priority routes and time deadlines are governed by the Snow & Ice Management Policy.
This map outlines the snow clearing priority for the city. Note Snow clearing does not start until snowfall and blowing winds have subsided. Heavy snowfalls or successive storms may extend the time deadlines.
We ask residents to assist by keeping vehicles off the streets during snow removal operations and by not pushing snow from driveways onto the road.
